Rs4 billion business activities undertaken as 3.2m people visit tourist spots during Eid

KAGHAN: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s tourism industry has seen a boom during the Eid holidays.

According to a report, 3.2 million citizens had visited various tourism spots in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the past five to six days. Alone in Hazara and Malakand Divisions, business activities worth Rs4 billion were undertaken during these days.

Tourist places were seen packed with tourists during the Eid holidays.

The report added that 300,000 vehicles had entered into Kaghan while 200,000 into Galiat in the past five to six days.

After coming into power, the PTI government had vowed to develop 20 new tourist destinations during its five years term.
