KARACHI: Six employees of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA0 have contracted the India’s Delta variant of Covid-19.
Sources said three employees from the human resource department and the same number of workers from the Cargo department tested positive for the Indian Delta variant, causing concern for the management of CAA headquarters.
They added that the six employees had undergone Covid tests after their condition deteriorated. Later, after their reports came positive, they were placed under quarantine at their homes.
The CAA authorities have directed its employees to ensure first jab of Covid vaccine before July 31. It warned that those who failed to comply with the order will not be allowed to enter the offices and the airport premises from August 1.
