KARACHI: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has accepted the PML-N candidate Miftah Ismail’s application for recount of votes polled in NA-249 by-polls.
The ECP will hear Miftah Ismail’s application on May 4.
The ECP has also stopped the consolidation process of the final results of NA-249 by-polls and issued notices to all the parties.
It added that the final results will be released after the vote recount.
It may be mentioned here that PML-N candidate Miftah Ismail had challenged the NA-249 by-polls results.
