NEW DELHI: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the second wave of coronavirus has shaken the country.

“At the moment, we can win this war by following the advice of scientists,” he added.

According to Indian media reports, in his speech, Modi said that the coronavirus epidemic is testing the patience and endurance of all of us.

Modi said the government was working closely with the state governments. He further said that state governments were also doing their best to fulfill their responsibilities.

“Don’t spread any rumors about the vaccine. In this coronavirus crisis, everyone knows the importance of the vaccine,” he said.

From May 1, the Covid-19 vaccine will be available to every citizen over the age of 18, the India PM said.
