The Ashes: England wins third Test by 8 wickets against Australia

BIRMINGHAM: England on Friday won the third Ashes Test by 8 wickets against Australia in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

England had to score 121 runs to win the Ashes third Test against Australia on Friday. England achieved the given target on two wickets.

Australia scored 136-run in first inning and 265-run in the second inning. While England had scored 281 runs in the first inning. England achieved the given target on two wickets in the second inning on Friday.

Australian opener Rogers scored 52 runs in the first inning. On the other hand England’s bowler Anderson took 6 wickets. While Broad and Finn grabbed two wickets each in the inning.

England’s batsman Root scored 63 runs and Ali made 59 runs in its first inning. While Australian bowlers Hazlewood and Lyon took three wickets each in the inning.

While in the second inning, Australian batsmen Warner, Nevill and Starc scored 77, 59, 58 respectively. England’s bowler Finn took 6 wicket in the inning. While Anderson, Broad, Ali and Stokes grabbed one wicket each.

England’s batsmen Bell and Root scored 65, 38 runs respectively and remained not in the second inning.
