RAWALPINDI: The federal government will register a terrorism case against PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah, says the information minister.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Fawad Chaudhry said that a terrorism case would be filed against Rana Sanaullah over his “threats” to the Punjab chief secretary, commissioner and others.
The information minister added that the PML-N leader had hurled threats yesterday at the Punjab chief secretary, commissioner and others. A case under the Anti-Terrorism Act will be filed against the PML-N leader and in this connection directives had been issued, he further said.
No one can be allowed to threaten any government officer and his family and pass insulting remarks against the state institutions. He has to do politics within the limits of the Constitution, Chaudhry warned.
He will face a legal action if he tried to blackmail institutions, the federal minister added.
