With the view to maintain law and order Rangers will be deputed outside the polling stations in NA-249, it further said.

The home department has issued the notification on the request of the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Meanwhile, PML-N leader and former finance minister Miftah Ismail has come up with a unique idea to woo voters in the coming by-polls for Karachi’s NA-249.

Miftah Ismail, during his election campaign, will hand out candy carrying his picture on the packaging.

It may be mentioned here that PML-N leader Miftah Ismail runs a candy factory named Ismail Industries, which owns Candyland.

The unique idea of election campaign by Mifath Ismail has gained a positive response on the social media.

Miftah Ismail is seen as a soft image of PML-N as he is popular among people in Karachi. Experts claimed that the PML-N candidate is favorite to win the NA-249 by-polls.
