I am facing 14 cases in court: Sheikh Rasheed

KARACHI: Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that democracy had won yesterday in Daska.

He stated this while addressing a presser here on Sunday.

“One wrestler had won while another lost in Daska by-polls,” he added. Imran Khan’s narrative had not lost in the NA-75 elections as PTI had won despite losing the election there. Those who underestimated our votes in NA-75 had faced a defeat. The next election in Punjab will be contested between the PTI and PML-N, the federal minister added.

He said that the government is working to control inflation as the prime minster himself is monitoring the situation. The prime minister has challenged all the mafias. “We are lucky to have an incompetent opposition,” Sheikh Rasheed said, adding that Imran Khan was still alive politically.

He claimed that the Swiss bank account case was being reopened again.
