ISLAMABAD: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has released a $500 million tranche to Pakistan.
According to a statement issued by the SBP, the IMF’s executive board had approved the release of the installment last week.
#SBP has received IMF tranche of US$ 498.7 million (equivalent to SDR 350 million) under the Extended Fund Facility.

Pakistan has so far received $2.45 billion under this program.
It is to be mentioned here that Pakistan has borrowed $6 billion from the IMF.
