KARACHI: The price of sugar has crossed over Rs100 per kilograms across the country.
In Karachi, the price of sugar increased by Rs10 per kg, after which the price of sweetener in the city reached Rs100 per kg.
On the other hand, the price of sugar in Lahore has reached Rs105 per kg while the official rate has been fixed at Rs84 per kg.
The sugar price is also rising in the federal capital and has reached Rs100 per kg. Sugar is also being sold at Rs100 to Rs103 per kg in Multan, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur and Sargodha in other parts of Punjab.
