Badin: A local court has convicted a former woman senator in a case of submitting fake degree.
According to a local TV, Badin Sessions Court Judge Javed Abbasi, while delivering the verdict in the fake degree case, sentenced former Senator Yasmeen Shah to two years imprisonment and a fine of Rs50,000.
Former Senator Yasmeen Shah was arrested and sent to jail after the court pronounced its verdict in the case.
Yasmeen Shah had submitted fake BA degree in the 2003 Senate elections.
