Bangladesh buys equipment from Israel to spy on public

DHAKA: Bangladesh has bought equipment from Israel to spy on the public.

The equipment will be able to monitor hundreds of people’s mobile phones simultaneously.

According to Arab media reports, Bangladesh has bought spy equipment from an Israeli company for its intelligence service.

The report added that the Bangladeshi army have purchased equipment from Israel through an agent based in Bangkok.

It further said that Bangladeshi intelligence officers have also been trained in Hungary by Israeli intelligence experts.

It may be mentioned here that Bangladesh is among the countries that do not recognise Israel.
