Islamabad: The federal government has increased the prices of petroleum products.
The price of petrol has been increased by Rs3.20 per liter while the price of diesel has been increased by Rs2.95 per liter.
In addition, the price of kerosene has been increased by Rs3 per liter and the price of light diesel by Rs4.42 per liter.
The government gave the gift of inflation to the people twice in the first month of the new year and approved the increase in the prices of petroleum products.
After the hike, the new price of petrol was Rs109.20 per liter, diesel Rs113.19 per liter, kerosene Rs76.65 per liter and light diesel oil Rs76.23 per liter.
The new prices of petroleum products are effective from midnight.
