Prime Minister Imran Khan inauguarted the country’s first instant digital payment system ‘Raast’ on Monday.
The prime minister said that unfortunately our country collects less tax.
“With the help of digital systems, we will move financial transactions and the economy towards a documentary economy,” he said.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister also lauded Governor SBP Raza Baqir and said that remittances from the SBP have increased to a record level.
He added that the record remittances have strengthened the rupee against the dollar.
