ISLAMABAD: Peace talks between Afghan government and Taliban has been postponed over their request, said Foreign Office.
Foreign Ministry spokes person Qazi Muhammad Khalilullah on Thursday said that Afghan government and Taliban requested to postpone the peace talks which had to commence in Murree from Friday.
The spokes person said that the peace talks were postponed due to the death of Taliban leader Mullah Omar. He said that Pakistan and other countries hoped that Taliban would continue their participation in peace process.
