QUETTA: Unidentified gunmen shot dead 11 miners and injured several others in the Machh coal field.
Police said the gunmen abducted miners working in the Machh coal field and took them to nearby hills, where they were shot dead.
Police adddd that more than 10 miners were injured in the firing, many of whom are in critical condition. The injured were shifted to Machh Hospital.
Heavy contingents of police, administration and FC have reached the spot after the incident.
Later, Deputy Commissioner Kachhi Murad Kasi confirmed that 11 miners were killed in the firing incident and said that the tragic incident took place in Gushtari area.
