Alkhidmat undertakes 3rd-phase orphan children health screening

Karachi: Pediatricians, otolaryngologists and general physicians under Alkhidmat orphan health care yearly programme examined 150 children in district south out of 1,139 registered children at its facility in Lyari.

The children underwent medical check at the centre and also given tips how they can lead a healthy life by medical experts.

During checkup mothers and guardians of children were also present and they praised efforts of organisation in direction of health care.

JI member Sindh Assembly, Abdul Rasheed who was also present on the occasion inquired about health of each child and said that orphan children are our future bright stars.

He said it is responsibility of society to take care of these children and appealed philanthropists to come forward and help Alkhidmat in this noble cause.

Earlier around 400 children in different districts have so far been examined by medical teams of Alkhidmat, press release added.
