JI warns of laying siege to punjab assembly

Lower Dir: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Siraj-ul-Haq has said that if the parties in the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) decide to leave the Sindh government, central government and Senate, then Jamaat-e-Islami may also consider resignations.

Talking to media here on Monday, Siraj-ul-Haq said that martial law is neither a solution to the problems in the current situation nor was it before. The government has not fulfilled a single promise made to the people, he added.

It may be recalled that there are 11 parties in the PDM which are campaigning against the government. However, the Jamaat-e-Islami itself is engaged in a campaign against the government.
