Qureshi says Pakistan has shifted its focus to geoeconomics from geopolitics

Multan: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the government was ready to hold talks with the opposition on the national issues.

“We will not use force to stop the political activities of the opposition,” Qureshi added.

He asked the opposition to resign if they wants to do so.

He said that health emergency is imposed in the country and the opposition should avoid double standards. We have to move forward politically, he added.

The foreign minister said that the door of dialogue with the opposition is open. Do not associate NRO with national interests, he added.

He said that Yousuf Raza Gilani should prove his allegations. Shah Mehmood Qureshi termed the PDM meeting in Multan as a failure and said that it would be more appropriate to name it as an event.
