Alkhidmat undertakes phase-II orphan children health screening

Karachi: Pediatricians, otolaryngologists and general physicians under Alkhidmat orphan health care yearly programme examined 200 children out of 1,137 registered children at its Korangi screening centre facility.

The children undergone medical check at the centre and also given tips how they can lead a healthy life.

During checkup mothers and guardians of children were also present and they praised efforts of organisation in direction of health care.

Meanwhile, Executive Director, Rashid Qureshi said that around 400 children in south and Korangi district have so far been examined and more medical tests would be followed soon.

Alkhidmat alongwith maintaining needs also takes health care of orphan children in order to prevent them from sense of deprivation, he added.
