Lahore: The local administration has refused to give permission to the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to hold rally at the Minar-e-Pakistan on Dec 13.
Speaking to a local TV here on Friday, the Lahore deputy commissioner said that the permission had not been given to the PDM to hold rally at Minar-e-Pakistan.
Minar-e-Pakistan is an historical place where permission for a political rally could not be given, he added.
He further said that coronavirus was spreading fast across the country and under these circustances permission for holding a rally is not justified.
