GHIZER, Gilgit Baltistan: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has called for giving the Gilgit-Baltistan representation in the National Assembly and the Senate.
Addressing an election rally here on Saturday, the PPP chief said that the people of Ghizer had laid down sacrifices for the country. PPP and Ghizer has a connection of martyrs with each other, he added.
Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had made Ghizer a district. PPP had removed the FCR in Gilgit-Baltistan and got its people liberated. Shaheed Benazir Bhutto had introduced democracy here, Bialwal said.
While addressing to the people he said that due to the efforts by the PPP you have your own chief minister and governor. Your rights and demands are included in the PPP manifesto, Bilawal added.
