‘Those completed Orange Line Metro Train project are in jail today’

LAHORE: PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique on Sunday said those completed the Orange Line Metro Train project are in jail today.

He was addressing a ceremony organised by the PML-N to celebrate the completion of the Orange Line Metro Train here.

He said that fake cases are registered agianst the PML-N leaders. Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz had completely changed Lahore as the city had no sewage and water supply system earlier.

We are put in jails for demanding rights for the poor, Saad added.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will inaugurate the Orange Line Metro Train today.

After the inauguration, the citizens of Lahore will be able to travel by the metro train from tomorrow from Dera Gujran to Ali Town covering a distance of 27.1 kilometers. The metro train will carry 1,000 passengers. The train service will operate from 7am morning to 8pm at night daily.

The government had recently fixed the single journey fare of the metro train at Rs40. However, the citizens of Lahore have demanded of the provincial transport department to reduce the fare.
