Dengue to spread in Karachi among 10 major cities by Oct, warns PMD

KARACHI: Dengue cases are rising in Karachi as over 400 patients have been reported in the city during the last one month.

Sources said that 448 people have infected with the mosquito-borne disease during the last one month in the port city.

According to the health department, the total number of dengue cases in the city have reached to 1,149 this year.

It added that the highest number of 222 cases had been reported in the district east while 112 in the district central. In district south 66, Korangi 36, Malir 25 and district west 19 people infected with dengue.
