Matiari: At least four people, three women and a child among them, were killed and seven others injured when an overspeeding trawler drove into a Chehlum procession here on Thursday.
According to Assistant Commissioner Abdul Majeed Zohrani, the accident occured on the National Highway when a Chehlum procession taken out from the Pirzada Muhalla was passing through the highway. The overspeeding trawler drove through the procession killing three women and a children and injuring seven others.
The assistant commissioner said that the seriously injured had been shifted to a hospital in Hyderabad.
