GUJRANWALA: A treason has been case filed against Capt (R) Safdar, a PML-N leader and husband of Maryam Nawaz Sharif here.
The case has been registered against Captain (R)Safdar and PML-N MPA Imran Khan Butt on behalf of a SHO at the Satellite Town Police Station.
According to the FIR, the PML-N has used ‘provocative and threatening words’ against the state institutions during a party meeting held at the residence of Imran Butt on Friday.
Police have constituted a special team for the arrest of Capt (R) Safdar and Imran Butt.
