KARACHI: PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday condemning the arrest of PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif demanded his immediate release.
In a statement, the PPP chairman said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was adopting awkward tactics now.
The arrests of politicians is a proof of confusion of Imran Khan, he added.
He urged the prime minister to stop using NAB for political revenge.
Earlier in the day, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif was arrested by the National Accountability Court.
The anti-graft watchdog had arrested the PML-N president from the courtroom after his interim bail was rejected by a two-member bench of the NAB court.
The PML-N leader was arrested in the money laundering and assets beyond known income cases.
