KARACHI: Two members of the gang that involved in the online delivery of drugs have been arrested in Karachi.
According to SSP Investigation South Bashir Ahmed Barohi, the network of online drug delivery in Karachi is being operated from Lahore. He added that two members of the network had been arrested.
The SSP said that the mastermind of the online drug network is a woman belonging to the influential circles of Lahore.
He said that the drug addicts including young boys and girls place orders on the social media networks for crystal, ice and other narcotics. Then, from another social media account the orders are sent to the woman in Lahore. Afterwards, she forward the orders to her network operating in Karachi for delivery.
The SSP said that the online orders for the drugs are delivered within 30 to 40 minutes in any part of Karachi. The payment is made cash upon receiving the drug delivery, he added.
