GILGIT: The general elections for the Gilgit-Baltistan’s legislative assembly will be held on Nov 15 (Sunday).
In this connection, President Dr Arif Alvi has accorded an approval to a summary for holding the general elections in GB. Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan had sent the summary to the president.
The general elections were to be held on Aug 8, however, they were postponed owing to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan had permitted holding the general elections in the Galgit-Baltistan on March 30.
