Karachi: The Sindh government has decided to lift ban on marriage halls from tomorrow (Sept 15).
Under the decision of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the Sindh government has issued a notification, lifting a ban on the marriage halls from Sept 15.
Sources said that the standard operation procedure (SOP) will have to be followed for reopening the marriage halls.
Wearing face mask and gloves will be mandatory for both the bride and groom at the marriage halls. They will also have to maintain social distancing on the premises of a marriage hall, according to the SOPs.
The sources said that the installation of a sanitiser gate at the entrance of marriage halls will be must.
The added that the halls will be allowed to entertain guests half of their total capacity.
Earlier in March, the marriage halls were closed in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.
