Karachi: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has proposed an increase in the prices of petroleum products from September 1.
According to sources, it has been proposed to increase the price of petrol by Rs7 and diesel by Rs8 per liter.
Sources said that OGRA has also proposed increase in prices of kerosene and light diesel oil.
OGRA has sent a summary to the Petroleum Division on which the final decision will be taken by the Ministry of Finance in consultation with the Prime Minister.
