Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman blamed the federal government for the worst situation in the city after the rains in Karachi.
Talking to media in Karachi on Monday, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that the situation in Karachi became worse when after the rains in the city. He said that in the last two years, there were more than 50 deaths occured in the rain-related incidents in Karachi, for which the federal government is also responsible.
The JI leader said that the Chief Justice even today asked how these killings took place in Karachi. The Abraaj group is responsible for all these killings and the federal government had not taken any action against it.
He said that a month ago Asad Umar, Umar Ayub and Sindh Governor had made claims in a press conference to solve the problems of Karachi but nothing had been done.
He said that the Sindh Governor’s House has become the second headquarters of K-Electric. The government wants to give a safe exit to K-Electric, Hafiz Naeem added.
