YouTube rolls out AI Chat Assistant to recover hacked accounts

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday took notice of objectionable content on the social media.

The apex court took notice while hearing a sectarian case related to the bail of accused Shaukat Ali.

During the hearing , Justice Qazi Amin expressing anger asked whether the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) had seen what was happening on YouTube.

He remarked that our families are not spared on YouTube and other social media platforms as the judges are shamed there. They become ‘uncles’ on the YouTube and incite the viewers.

“Yesterday we made the decision and it started on YouTube. We are showing restraint. In the end, it has to end,” he added.

Justice Qazi Amin observed: “People have the right to speak on our performance and decisions. We have no problem with freedom of expression, but the constitution also gives us the right to privacy.”
