JERUSALEM: Israeli police on Sunday entered into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and sealed it. Sources said that Jews extremists clashed with the Muslims when they attempted to enter in the mosque.
Sources said that many people were injured in the clashes. Police opened fires in the air to disperse people and sealed the mosque.
While the Muslims said that clashes broke out when Jews extremist had beaten a Palestinian child outside the Al-Aqsa mosque. Police said that Jews were allowed to enter in the Al-Aqsa mosque on their religious festivals.
