ISLAMABAD: A PTI minister has reportedly approached the senior PML-N leadership and offered to bring a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan in the National Assembly, a local English language newspaper claims.
Citing a credible source, the paper said that the federal minister had recently talked on this subject to a family member of a senior PML-N leader. He said that if the no-confidence motion is moved against the PM, several PTI members will endorse it in the parliament.
The said message has been conveyed to Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif. However, the PML-N has so far not responded to the PTI minister’s offer and is adopting a policy of wait of see at the moment.
The newspaper said that when contacted to the said PTI minister he rejected he had conveyed any such message to the PML-N leadership.
The PTI is already having strained relations with the allies.
