Cambridge: The use of air conditioners may become a cause for the spread of coronavirus during the current summer season.
This has been revealed in a report of the Harvard Gazette.
Professor Edward at the Medical School of the Harvard University said in the report that more cases of coronavirus have been reported where air conditioner is continuously used.
Normally the virus spreads with droplets present in the air due to sneezing and cough. But evidence has suggested that the virus is transmitted through air too, the professor said.
