RAWALPINDI: Three members of the Pakistan’s 29-player squad announced for the upcoming England tour have tested positive for coronavirus here on Monday.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), in a statement, confirmed that Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf and Haider Ali have tested positive ahead of the national cricket team’s upcoming England tour.
It added that all the three players had developed no symptoms until they were tested here.
The PCB’s medical panel has advised the players to immediately isolate themselves.
Other players who were tested in Rawalpindi included Imad Waseem and Usman Shinwari. However, the results of both the cricketers had come back negative.
