ISLAMABAD: Minister for Science Fawad Chaudhry has said that the Eidul Azha would be celebrated on July 31 (Friday) in Pakistan.
According to the calendar of Ministry of Science and Technology, the moon of Zilhajj will be visible over Karachi and its peripheral areas on July 21, therefore the Eidul Azha will be observed on July 31, the federal minister said in a Tweet.
As per calender of @MinistryofST Eid-Al-Adha shall be celebrated on Fiday,31st July 2020. On 21st July ZeAlHaj moon shall be visible over Karachi and it’s peripheral areas, “Ruet”App may also be used to ascertain exact location of the moon. #Eid

He added that by using the Ruet App accurate location of the moon can be determine.
