Riyadh: The Masjid-i-Nabawwi (PBUH) will gradually reopen for public from tomorrow (Sunday) in Madina, the Saudi government announced on Saturday.

Following easing in curfew restrictions, all the mosques in the kingdom, excluding in Makkah, will reopen doors to worshipers on Sunday.

King Sulman bin Abdulaziz had given approval to reopen the doors of the Holy mosque.

People have been asked to bring with them their prayer rugs and observe social distancing at the mosque.

Earlier on March 20, the Saudi government had banned offering prayers at the Masjid-i-Nabawwi due fears of coronavirus.
