Maulana Taqi asks people to offer congregational prayers at mosques in Ramazan

Karachi: Renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani has appealed to the Muslims to offer their prayers in congregation at mosques during the last decade of the holy month of Ramazan, observing the safety guidelines. 

He also asked for offering the Eidul Fitr prayers in congregation at mosques.

In a message posted on Twitter, Usmani said that the pandemic was spreading with each passing day globally. Under these circumstances, neither business activities can be suspended nor the collective worships can be stopped.

He requested to the believers to visit mosques without any fear and offer prayers during the last decade of the Ramazan month.

Usmani hoped that the government would not create any hurdle for the people in performing prayers at mosques.

He urged the citizens and the government to play their role for the betterment of the country, elimination of the pandemic and removing of chaos from the country.
