Karachi: Now a coronavirus patient can decide whether to quarantine himself at his home or a government’s isolation centre.
This has been stated by the Sindh health department’s advisory issued here on Wednesday.
Earlier, a patient had to move to the government-run isolation centres after testing positive.
The advisory said that now no patient could be forced to move to government-run isolation centre.
It added that if a proper space is available at the patients’ home and his family agrees to observe standard operating procedures then he could not be forced to shift to an isolation centre
