Karachi: Sindh Minister for Industries and Commerce Jam Ikramullah Dharejo on Saturday said that the Sindh government is aware of the difficulties faced by the people due to the lockdown.

There is no difference between the Sindh government and the industrialists and traders on the lockdown policy to stop the spread of the coronavirus as without following the policy of social distancing and lockdown, it is very difficult to stop the spread of Coronavirus.

He stated this in a statement issued here.

He said that Sindh government was very well awar of the difficulties of the industrialists but the factory owners had to follow the SOPs in all cases and the Sindh government was making every effort to provide facilities to the industrialists.

Ikramullah Dharejo said that negative and fabricated propaganda was being spread against the Sindh government in the name of traders. The Chief Minister had taken the industrialists on board over the lockdown situation.

He added, ‘ Sindh government has worked with the traders to address the situation.

The total number of cases of Coronavirus patients has exceeded 12,000 and the country is in a dangerous situation due to the spread of Coronavirus.

The minister said that the Sindh government was working against Coronavirus but the federal government was blaming Sindh for its poor measures and failures which was regrettable.

He said that the federal government, in the name of the change, has given nothing to the nation except the flour and sugar scandals. Federal ministers are not allowed to do anything but firestorms and accusations against the Sindh Government, he concluded.

He further said that the country’s 220 million people are seeing the dire consequences of change. While the PPP government has ensured the provision of non-discriminatory employment in all its tenures and we are fighting against the coronavirus in spite of adverse conditions.

He said that the Sindh government had taken strict measures for the welfare of the people. It was not possible to stop the spread of the Coronavirus without the full cooperation of the people.
