Karachi: Sindh Minister for Anti-corruption, Industries, Commerce and Cooperative Department Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo has said that the Sindh government is not against any business activities.

He said:”We are interested to resume business activities but it is feared that coronavirus may spread, that is why the Sindh government is very much carefull  while dealing with the situation.

He stated this while talking to electronic media here.

Dharejo said that the Sindh government was fully aware of the problems being faced by daily wagers, but their health and lives were more important than anything else.

‘ We were trying to open shops under SOPs and a proper schedule would be issued for them, the minster said.

He admitted that we did not have much testing capacity for coronavirus patients and there is no option except social distancing to protect ourselves from the virus.

Darejo said that unfortunately the federal government did not coordinate and cooperate with the Sindh government on the coronavirus issue and unless and until all provinces and federal government were not on the same page, the policy of lockdown could not get its proper results.

He said that we were passing through a crucial time and against Coronavirus we had to work together and had to adopt unanimous policies.
