ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Friday issued show-cause notice to K-Electric over prolonged load shedding in Karachi.
NEPRA said that K-Electric failed to comply with the conditions written in the agreement. NEPRA spokesperson said that K-Electric deliberately produced less electricity than its capacity.
He said that K-Electric failed to fulfill its responsibilities. He continued that K-Electric misguided NEPRA over power crises and failed to provide sufficient electricity to the consumers.
