TOKYO/ATHENS: For the first time in 124 years, the Olympics games planned this year in Tokyo has been delayed into 2021 amid coronavirus outbreak.
This has been decided by the Olympics movement and Japan here on Tuesday.
However, the Games had been cancelled several times during the World Wars in 20th century.
Japan’s PM Shinzo Abe said that the Tokyo Games would be rescheduled for next year’s summer.
