Qureshi to keep himself in isolation for 5 days as precaution to check coronavirus

ISLAMABAD:  Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi intensified contacts with allied parties.

ISLAMABAD: Following a recent visit to China, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has announced to keep himself in isolation for five days as a precautionary measure to check coronavirus.

Speaking to a local TV on Tuesday, the foreign minister said that before leaving for China he and others had a swab test done, which was a negative.

Meanwhile, a new study reveals that new coronavirus can remain present in air for hours.

Experts from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said that when an infected person sneezes or coughs the virus remains viable for about three hours.

The deadly virus has so far killed over 8, 400 people in the world.
