ISLAMABAD: A case has been registered against JUI-F’s Maulana Abdul Majeed Hizravi and 11 other local religious leaders for allegedly disrupting the Aurat March on Monday.
The FIR has been registered under the sections 147, 149, 186, 188, 341 and 353 at the Kohsar Police by the state.
The names of JUI-F’s Maulana Abdul Majeed Hizravi, Maulana Abdul Majeed Hizravi, Maulana Abdul Rasheed Tauheedi, Maulana Shabir Ahmed Usmani, Maulana Liaquat Ali Turabi, Maulana Abdul Waheed Qasmi, Maulana Asadullah Abbasi, Maulana Hafiz Maqsood Ahmed, Maulana Rizwan Makki, Maulana Nasir Ahmed, Mufti Abdullah, Maulana Nasir Ahmed and Maulana Abdul Razzaq Haidri were mentioned the case.
A man was reportedly injured after participants of the march were allegedly attacked by unknown persons on Sunday.
