NEW DELHI: The New Delhi High Court on Wednesday reprimanded the New Delhi police for their failure to check the violence professionally in the city’s north-east where death toll had jumped to 22.

The unchecked violence continued today as one more casualty occurred in Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital.

Finally, on the other hand, PM Modi broke his silence over the violence, appealing for maintaining peace in the capital.

Meanwhile, the AAP leaders have demanded of the Modi-led government deploy army in the Delhi’s affected areas to maintain peace.
