ISLAMABAD: Judicial Commission has rejected all the allegations about systematic rigging in election 2013, in its final report.
Law Ministry on Thursday issued the inquiry commission report on its website. The Inquiry Commission’s report said that election 2013 were true and fair reflection of the mandate given by the electorate.
The commission said that allegations against those allegedly involved in the designed rigging also remained unsubstantiated by the evidence on record.
It is said in the report that the plan or design to manipulate or influence the elections had not been disclosed with any degree of specification by any of the parties to the proceeding nor is it discernible from the material placed before the commission.
The inquiry commission said in its verdict that the general elections 2013 were organized and conducted fairly and in accordance with the law.
The Judicial Commission was formed on April 8th to investigate alleged rigging in the general elections 2013. Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk headed the three-member bench comprising Justice Amir Hani Muslim and Justice Ejaz Afzal.
