ISLAMABAD: Some of the sections of the National Accountability Ordinance, 1999 are against the Shariah, the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) claimed here on Thursday.
CII Chairman Dr Qibla Ayaz addressing a presser here said that his council after a two-day meeting came to a conclusion that sections 15-A, 14-D and 26 are against the Shariah.
The CII chief said that it was an un-Islamic act to broadcast on media the handcuffing of suspects and video of the arrest.
